# What is Registration/Delivery?

**Registration** 

Registration refers to the account that the securities will be registered to. If the securities will be registered under a different account than your own name (for example a brokerage account) please select *“Differently”*. Examples of accounts securities can be registered to are brokerages, joint accounts and bank accounts.

**Delivery** 

Delivery refers to the physical address to which the securities will be mailed to. If you want your securities to be mailed to a brokerage or a different address than your home address, please select *“Differently”*.  If you select "*Differently”,* you will be prompted to provide all the alternative details.
