Sending an Email or Newsfeed Posts to Your Members

When you are ready to send your email or newsfeed post to your members, there are a few options that you will see in the “share with members” box at the bottom of your screen.

  1. Check off the “share with all” box if you’d like to send your email or newsfeed post to all members
  2. If you would like to send the email or newsfeed post to only select members, make sure the “share will all box” is unchecked. This will generate  a menu from which you can manually add which members should receive this update or email. The menu includes the option to send to select tags or statuses, allowing you to send to a select list of members.
  3. If you would like to schedule your email or newsfeed post to send at a later time, make sure the “schedule” box is selected
    1. In the “scheduled” tab within the updates pages, you can see any scheduled posts that have not yet been sent.
  4. If you would like to also share your email as a newsfeed post, make sure the “also post an update” box is selected. This is only available for emails.

Once you have the desired boxes selected in the “share with members” section, simply click “send” to share your email or newsfeed post. You can track your email analytics in the “Published” tab under “Updates”.
