How to Access the Email Editor


  1. Navigate to your company’s Engage portal 
  2. In the left hand navigation menu, select the Communications drop down menu
  3. From the drop down, select the Updates option (first option at the top of the menu)
  4. Select either of the “+ Compose Email” or “+ Post Feed Update” buttons
    1. If you compose a new email, you can also upload a news feed post that is identical to the email you craft
    2. If you create a new post feed update, you can only upload that news feed post, you cannot also send an email

How to use the Template Library, Company Templates and DealMaker Templates


After clicking on either the “+ compose email” or “+ post feed update” button mentioned in step 4 above, you will be presented with a popup template library with two tabs: Company Templates and DealMaker Templates.


In the “Company Templates" tab, you will find any templates that you or anyone in your company created and saved from within the editor, as well as a blank template if you wish to start from scratch.


In the “DealMaker Templates” tab, you will find templates curated specifically by the DealMaker team. These templates are based on real emails crafted by DealMaker Reach for their client’s email campaigns. The available DealMaker templates are as follows: 

  • Notable Press Release
  • Team Introductions
  • Industry Growth and Traction
  • Product Deep Dive
  • Market Outlook
  • CEO Letter
  • Generic Template 
    • this is not specific to a given scenario or customer segmentation, it will give you the general formatting that is uniform across all the other DealMaker templates

Selecting and Loading in a Template


If you would like to start from a premade template: 

  1. Click on the desired template from within the template library, either in the “Company Templates” or “DealMaker Templates” tab
  2. Click on the “Start with template” button at the bottom right of the template popup

This will load in the content and formatting of the template into the editor.


If you would like to start from scratch with a blank template: 

  1. Click on “Blank Template” from within the Company Templates tab
  2. Click on the “Start with template” button

This will load a blank page into the editor.
