What’s the process for onboarding with DealMaker Shareholder Services?

DealMaker Shareholder Services provides an easy and simple process to onboard with our team! The steps are listed out below: 

1. Once you are ready to begin onboarding, please notify your DealMaker.Tech account manager who will send you an onboarding form. 
   
   In the board resolution appointing DealMaker Transfer Agent, LLC as the Transfer Agent (found in the Onboarding form link above), kindly ensure to include the state of incorporation of your entity in both the [State Law Section] and [state legislation] section of the document.
2. Submission of the onboarding form notifies the DealMaker Shareholder Services team who will immediately begin reviewing the form response. 
   1. The DealMaker Shareholder Services team will communicate with other teams in the DealMaker ecosystem such as the DealMaker.Tech and DealMaker Securities representatives to ensure that we have all the information we need. 
3. Your DealMaker Shareholder Services account manager will be assigned to your company and will reach out with any further questions or information needed to complete onboarding. 
4. If there are any historical shareholders being brought over to DealMaker Shareholder Services, your team will be asked to submit a list of these historical shareholders in Excel format. You can download a copy of the Excel spreadsheet format that DealMaker Shareholder Services requires here.  Once the Excel is received, the DealMaker Shareholder Services team will begin processing this data and uploading these shareholders onto our systems. 
5. After shareholders have all been uploaded, they will be sent new book-entry statements and a letter notifying them that DealMaker Shareholder Services is now the transfer agent on record for the company. 
6. Once shareholders have been notified, your Shareholder Services account manager will send you an email confirming the above and that onboarding is completed!
7. Our Shareholder Services team is ready to assist whenever your company decides to proceed with a share issuance. In the meantime, to prepare for this process, please inform the transfer agent of your intention to issue shares. Once this notice is given, kindly complete the issuance request form.
